faq
required skill level?
Our general pickup sessions and tournaments are designed for intermediate+ players.
This typically means you are comfortable with and consistently serve overhand; pass reliably to the setter and use all three contacts regularly; understand rotations and transition effectively.
Our designated competitive sessions are tailored for upper-intermediate and advanced players. In addition to the skills mentioned above, participants should demonstrate proper hitting approach and ~70% passing accuracy.
what can i expect?
For our general pickup sessions, the first 15-20 minutes are usually players trickling in and warming up on the courts.
We typically bring everyone together for brief introductions & breaking off into teams.
Depending on the host, we might count off teams randomly, split courts by skill level, or draft teams. We'll play a few games with those teams, then randomize again.
Your team may sit out a game or two during the session, so feel free to take a water break or get to know your teammates a little more! :)
